Kunox Brings Warmth and Hope to the Children of Kunshan Welfare Institute
Sinox has long been committed to sustainable development, believing that community care is not only the cornerstone of sustainability but also an indispensable part. Therefore, we aim to leverage our corporate influence by collaborating with diverse social groups and providing resources.
Following the success of our subsidiary, Kunox visits to nursing homes and caring for the elderly living alone, we continued this mission into the second quarter of 2024, focusing particularly on children with physical and mental disabilities. Through a series of heartwarming activities, we sought to bring love and hope to them.
Brave Lives Under the Sun
On the eve of International Children's Day, we visited the Kunshan Welfare Institute to celebrate the holiday in advance with the children. The Kunshan Welfare Institute is dedicated to children with disabilities. Despite their congenital defects, these children never give up on themselves and live each day with remarkable strength. After learning about their backgrounds, we decided to spend a day as volunteers at the institute, hoping to bring joy and unforgettable memories to the children.
Fun Activities and a Joyful Atmosphere
On the day of the event, our colleagues dressed as clowns to interact with the children, enlivening the atmosphere. We then conducted a DIY activity where each child, guided by our colleagues, made their own cute bear fan. We also prepared group games, such as unlocking a coded lock attached to an eco-friendly cup, with small gifts awarded to the top three fastest participants. Watching the children strive hard in the competition was truly heartwarming!
At the end of the event, we asked the children to write small cards. Reading the sincere words they wrote, whether expressing their hopes for the future or their gratitude and blessings to us, deeply moved us. Through their simple words, we could feel their innocence and hope.
After the event, the Kunshan Welfare Institute awarded us a "Heartfelt Card" to thank us for bringing joy and smiles to the children.
In truth, we are the ones who should be thanking these children, for they showed us that despite physical disabilities, they maintain a passion and hope for life, filling us with positive energy. Thank you for being our best role models!
We hope that through this event, the public can recognize the strengths of these children and encourage them, rather than looking at their disabilities with discriminatory eyes.
In the future, we will continue to deepen our community care activities, providing more warmth to those in need.
